A popular ethnological annual event in the 'Haystack land', where you can get to know the traditional customs and habits of rural life, aswell as the traditional way of hay dry in the Lož valley. Mowing and hay harvesting was a demanding work for which many dexterous hands were required but also a festivity intertwined with song and roguish events.
The skilfully made haystacks have been the Lož valley pride and have become an integral part of the valley's cultural heritage. The skills and secrets of haymaking and other, by now forgotten rural activities, will be demonstrated at the event. The most dexterous will compete in the village games 'in the midst of haystacks' and the children in a playful show called 'Hey, hobby'.
The event takes part in one of the Lož valley villages.
