A pulse of rural life will be demonstrated to you at the ecological farm Homestead Kandare in Dane. From there you will ride a horse-carriage through the pastures nearby, marked by sinkholes and swallow holes making the memory of numerous floods ever present. You will see the karst brook Obrh, take a look into the sinkhole water cave Golobina and the Great Obrh spring at Vrhnika by Lož where there used to be a mill in the 17th century.
You will set out to the forest - surrounding the Lož valley from all sides - with an interpreter of natural heritage on a thematic route to Gornje Poljane, the highest Inner Carniola settlement with 1064 meters of altitude. At Tourism Jure - https://www.loskadolina.info/en/tourism-jure.html - you will also get refreshments.
One shouldn't leave Lož valley without visiting the Snežnik castle, the only castle in Slovenia with authentic 19th century furnishings, taking a tour of its surroundings and viewing the Hunting collection and Dormouse Museum in the manor house.
